Being a local-accredited, self-financing post-secondary education institution, HSMC local students* are eligible to apply for Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary students (FASP) and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary students (NLSPS) offered by the Student Finance Office (SFO) under the HKSAR Government. (*Detailed eligibility may refer to the SFO’s website)

In addition to the Government Financial Assistance Schemes, the College offers bursaries to full-time local students who have proven financial needs and / or inadequate coverage by government financial assistance schemes. Emergency grant is also offered to students who experience sudden unforeseen financial difficulties that will affect their studies at HSMC.

On the other hand, the MTR Corporation will continue to offer concessionary MTR fares to HSMC full-time students in the 2016/17 academic year.
