Student Amenities Booking

In support of the organisation of student activities, the College offers a variety of amenities on campus.  

Details of amenities offered are as follows:

A) Student Organisations' Rooms (B301-B305) at Block B

Student organisations can submit booking requests for use of B301, B304 and B305 at http://booking.hsmc.edu.hk/mobile/index.php

B) Meeting rooms (M1006-M1008) at Block M

Student organisations can submit booking requests for use of M1006, M1007 and M1008 for meeting purpose by completing the standard application form “Application for use of Venue/ Facility/ Equipment by Student Organizations” and return it to the SAO for processing. No deposit is required for the booking of this room.

C) Other venues (including facility/equipment) on campus

Student organisations should complete the standard application form “Application for use of Venue/ Facility/ Equipment by Student Organizations” and return it to the SAO for processing. Reservation would be confirmed upon receipt of the full payment of the deposit, as specified on the application form.

D) Walkie-talkie

Student organisations with needs can borrow walkie-talkie from the Student Affairs Office. There are altogether 10 sets of walkie-talkies, served on a first-come-first-serve basis. Application form can be obtained from HERE

E) Pianos

Two pianos, one in the College Hall and one in the Auditorium can be applied for use by student organisations at the time they submit the venue application form. The use is bound by the following guidelines. 

Piano in the College Hall (4/F, Block M)

1. This piano is opened for use by offices / schools / student organisations, subject to the availability of the venue.

2. Student organisations wishing to use the piano for special function should indicate at the time they submit the venue booking application form to SAO.

3. All users should use the piano with care and should any problem be spotted regarding the functioning of the piano, please inform CDMO.

Grand Piano in Auditorium (2/F, Block D)

1. This piano is primarily for use for concerts and College functions.

2. Offices / schools could apply for the use of it at the time they submit the venue booking applications to CDMO.

3. Student organisations could apply for the use of it at the time they submit the venue booking application form to SAO. Only special functions such as musicals and other music related performances would be considered. 

4. All users should use the piano with care and should any problem be spotted regarding the functioning of the piano, please inform CDMO.

Remarks

*All student organisations are strongly encouraged to plan ahead of their own activities. Usage of College's amenities without prior permission is strictly prohibited. 

*External organisations wishing to have its event(s) held at HSMC Campus please contact the Campus Development and Management Office at 3963 3150.
