Peer Mentor Scheme

“Peer Mentor Scheme” – spreading love in the campus

The Student Affairs Office, Peer Mentor Scheme launched in the academic year of 2015-16 academic year to promote caring atmosphere in the campus.

Coached by Counsellors of Personal Growth & Counseling, Peer Mentors attended a series of systematic training, including team building, Mental Health First Aid standard course, and conflict management skills to facilitate participant’s peer helping skills. Peer Mentors also supported their fellow students in need. They also planned and organized different caring activities including, Mental Health Exhibition, Examination Cheering Stations and the activity of Secret Angels to spread caring message in the campus.

Upon completion of the scheme, Peer Mentors can obtain “Mental Health First Aid Certificate” (Recognized by the Australian "Mental Health First Aid International") and “Peer Mentor Scheme Certificate” issued by the Student Affairs Office to recognize their contributions.
